Cave Story for PS3 Linux is cancelled

Oh boy.

I think this will be the last port I bother with, as after having several platforms get pulled out from under me I’m not terribly motivated to do it again. Time to work on my own stuff again I think.

So I take it that means there’s no possibility of a generic ARM/Linux build being released? I’d love to see a dynamically compiled version of the GP2X release that could then be run on other Linux-based ARM-powered handhelds. My understanding is that the only thing preventing it from running on other ARM/Linux handhelds is the hardware-specific SDL version statically compiled in.

Anyways, I know this is an old post, I was just thinking of this today and went googling.

Any possibility to get the hardcoded library paths for the Linux SDL version removed? I would like to see a completely dynamic version that can use the latest libraries and SDL.
